Installation and Setup:
- What you need: 4K Smart Box, Remote Control, HDMI Cable, Power Cord, Internet connection, and optionally a Google account.
- Connect to TV: Connect the HDMI cable between the Jawwy TV box and the TV set. Ensure the TV is switched to the correct external input.
- Connect to Internet: Connect the Jawwy TV box to the Ethernet port of your router or wall socket using the provided Ethernet cable for stable and fast connection. Wi-Fi setup is also possible later.
- Connect to Power: Connect the power supply to the DC jack on the Jawwy TV box and to a power outlet. The box will power on and display the Jawwy TV logo.
- Connect Remote Control:
- Insert AAA batteries into the remote.
- Bring the remote control closer to the box.
- Press any key to connect the remote to the TV box. A check mark will appear on the screen upon successful connection.
- Choose Language: Select your preferred language (Arabic, English (United States), English (United Kingdom), English (Australia), English (India)).
- Google Account Setup (Optional):
- Option 1 (Android Phone): Open the Google app on your Android phone, type/say "set up my device," follow instructions, ensure the code matches on TV, and tap JAWWY-TV-2.0. This automatically signs you into your Google account and connects to the same Wi-Fi.
- Option 2 (Phone or Computer): Visit androidtv.com/setup on your phone/computer (connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the TV), enter the displayed code. This option is recommended for privacy as it hides your Google account and password from the TV screen.
- Option 3 (Remote): Select "Use your remote" and enter your Google account details using the remote.
- If you skip Google account setup, you will need to set up your Wi-Fi network manually.
- Wi-Fi Network Setup: Select your Wi-Fi network from the list and enter the password. Ensure the box is close to a Wi-Fi access point with a strong signal.
- Google Terms: Review and accept Google's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Play Terms of Service.
- Location and Diagnostics: Choose whether Google and third-party apps can use your device's location and whether to send diagnostic information to Google.
- Install Additional Apps: Choose to get personal results (Turn on) and select additional recommended apps from Google Play to install.
