  First, ensure the power cord is properly plugged into an electrical outlet. Next, check that the power switch is set to the 'On' position, so that the power indicator light illuminates. Also, verify that the household circuit breaker or ground fault interrupter hasn't tripped, and that a fuse hasn't blown. Reset the breaker/interrupter or replace the fuse if needed. If the issue persists, it could indicate damage; in that case, stop using the unit immediately.

  This usually happens when there isn't enough water in the water tank. Check the water level and make sure it's between the Min and Max Fill lines marked on the tank.

  This is likely due to overfilling the water tank. Make sure the water level does not exceed the Max Fill Line.
