parts.
On/Off switch
Connect the device to the mains. Then press the on/off switch on the side. Switch off
the device again after grilling.
Control lamp:
The blue light shines if the thermostat is set in. If the desired temperature is reached
the lamp goes off and on.
Thermostat
The unit has 2 thermostats. The left thermostat is adjusted to a plate temperature of
250°C. The right thermostat is adjusted to a plate temperature of 300°C. This corres-
ponds to an all-around heat in the grill room of 150°C.
With the thermostat the temperature of the grill plate can be adjusted. The Numbers
on the thermostat knob have following meaning:
10C = thermostat switched on
150°C – 200°C = keeping warm
200°C – 225°C = grilling with low temperature ( for fish etc.)
225°C – 275°C = grilling on medium temperature (for chicken etc.)
300°C = grilling on max. temperature
Rack
Ready grilled meat or jacket potatoes can be kept warm on this surface with open lid;
it can also be used to crisp white bread etc. The temperature in this area, when the lid
is closed and the thermostat is set to max, is around 200°C.
Thermometer
The thermometer shows the all-around heat, but not the temperature on the plates.
