3. Installation
3.1 Outside installation:
Please note that the minimum space between the pool on the pump conforms to national safety standards (e.g. Austria: 2 m).
An absolutely level 0.60 x 0.60 m surface made of filter gravel (crushed rock) or compressed concrete with an open drainage attachment or
drainage ditch for backwash water is necessary.
Piping is carried out with flexible spiral ø 32/38 mm hose.
The pump is self-priming, but it should be mounted below the water level to allow water to flow to the pump. This relieves stress on the pump
and should increase its service life.
To operate the system out of doors, a 30 V 1N – AC 50 Hz grounding contact socket outlet (for damp areas) is necessary. This should be
installed by a locally licensed electrician at a distance of at least 3 m from the pool edge.
ATTENTION: Before loosening any threaded connections on the filtration system, be sure that the suction and pressure hoses are
closed to prevent water flow over the motor. Damages caused by flooding the pump are not covered under the
warranty.
NOTE: Proper installation, operation and maintenance of your filtration system are the best guarantees of good filtration quality
and a long service life. We recommend that you take note of the information presented in this handbook.
ATTENTION: When the swimming pool is winterised (prior to the onset of frost), the filtration system has to be drained, dismounted
and stored in a location protected from frost, or packed in a frost-resistant manner. For storage, the handle on the 6-way
central valve should be set between two positions to relieve tension on the spring.
NOTE: The grounding contact socket outlet should be equipped with an I
