INSTALLATION NOTES

1. Cut out template and place it around unit as shown.

2. Remove backing paper from gasket, install gasket around

template with surface “A” lying directly above the template,

discard template.

3. Using spacer as drill template mark and drill three (3) 3/16 in.

diameter holes. Complete installation as shown.

OPTIONAL: If anchors are not required, use spacer as template,

mark and drill (3) holes using a #32 drill bit.

CLEANING INSTRUCTIONS

Rinse with water to remove abrasive dust and dirt. Wash

with soap or mild detergent using a soft cloth. DO NOT

SCRUB OR USE BRUSHES OR ABRASIVES. Rinse once more,

then dry with a soft cloth or chamois. To remove grease or

wet paint, rub gently with a damp cloth thoroughly with

naphtha. Then wash and rinse. DO NOT USE RAZOR BLADES.

This document describes two devices: the STI-6514 Protective Cover and the STI-6516 Mini Bopper Stopper®. Both are designed to protect equipment, with the STI-6514 being a general-purpose protective cover and the STI-6516 specifically designed for mini bopper stoppers.

STI-6514 Protective Cover

Function Description: The STI-6514 Protective Cover is designed to provide protection for various devices. It consists of a cover assembly, a neoprene gasket, and a hinge spacer, all designed for secure mounting. The cover is intended to shield the protected device from environmental factors or accidental damage.

Important Technical Specifications:

Dimensions (Cover Assembly):
- Front View: 2.97 in. (75mm) wide, 3.60 in. (91mm) high.
- Side View: 3.75 in. (95mm) deep, 2.56 in. (65mm) high.
Mounting Hardware:
- Anchors: 3 provided.
- Mounting Screws: 3 screws, 6 x 1 1/4 in. each.
- Hinge Spacer: M1015980.
- Gasket: G405440 Neoprene Gasket.

Usage Features:

Installation:
1. A template is provided to mark the installation location. The template should be cut out and placed around the unit to be protected.
2. The G405440 Neoprene Gasket has a backing paper that needs to be removed. The gasket is then installed around the template, ensuring surface "A" of the gasket lies directly above the template. The template is then discarded.
3. The M1015980 Hinge Spacer is used as a drill template. Three 3/16 inch diameter holes are marked and drilled.
4. The cover assembly is then mounted using the provided anchors and mounting screws.
Optional Installation: If anchors are not required, the spacer can still be used as a template to mark and drill three holes using a #32 drill bit.
Spacer Orientation: The spacer must be installed with its mounting holes below the center line, as indicated by the "UP" arrow on the spacer.

Maintenance Features:

Cleaning:
- Begin by rinsing with water to remove abrasive dust and dirt.
- Wash with soap or mild detergent using a soft cloth. Do NOT scrub or use brushes or abrasives.
- Rinse once more, then dry with a soft cloth or chamois.
- To remove grease or wet paint, gently rub with a damp cloth thoroughly wetted with naphtha. Then wash and rinse. Do NOT use razor blades.

STI-6516 Mini Bopper Stopper®

Function Description: The STI-6516 Mini Bopper Stopper® is a protective cover specifically designed for mini bopper stoppers. It aims to safeguard the stopper from damage or tampering, ensuring its proper function.

Important Technical Specifications:

Dimensions (Cover Assembly):
- Top View: 3.75 in. (95mm) wide, 2 in. (51mm) deep.
- Front View: 3.625 in. (92mm) wide, 3.25 in. (82mm) high, 4 in. (102mm) deep, with a 1.5 in. (38mm) height from the base to the top of the opening.
Mounting Hardware:
- Anchors: 3 provided.
- Screws: 3 screws, #6 x 1 1/4 in. each.
- Spacer: M1015980.
- Gasket: KIT-G82599 (adhesive backing).

Usage Features:

Installation:
1. Remove the backing paper from the KIT-G82599 Gasket. Center the gasket from left to right around the lock, with surface "B" against the top of the lock.
2. Center the M1015980 Spacer with the bottom of the spacer lying on surface "A" of the gasket.
3. Using the spacer as a template, mark and drill three 3/16 inch diameter holes.
4. Complete the assembly by mounting the cover using the provided anchors and screws.
Optional Installation: If anchors are not required, the spacer can be used as a template to mark and drill three holes using a #36 drill bit.
Spacer Orientation: The spacer must be installed with its mounting holes below the center line, as indicated by the "UP" arrow on the spacer.
