■ Mowing head: Replace the mowing head immediately or con‐
tact an authorized STIHL servicing dealer for assistance if its
wear marks (1) become visible A. Do not use.
■ A cracked, damaged or worn polymer blade may shatter at high
speeds and cause serious or fatal injury B. To reduce the
risk of injury from broken parts, use only genuine STIHL poly‐
mer replacement blades and replace all polymer blades at the
same time.
Keep polymer blades and mowing lines in a water bath between
12 hours and 24 hours before use to increase their useful life.
