Conversion for Mulching
The mulch insert must be installed for
mulching.
N Remove the grass bag, see
“Removing the Grass Bag”
N Adjust the height of cut, see
“Adjusting Cutting Height”
N Fit the mulch insert, see “Fitting the
Mulch Insert”
Installing the Mulch Insert
N Open the rear discharge cover (1)
and hold it in position.
N Hold the mulch insert (2) by the
handle (3) and fit it in the rear
discharge chute (4).
N Close the rear discharge cover (1).
Removing the Mulch Insert
N Open the rear discharge cover (1)
and hold it in position.
N Grip the mulch insert (2) by the
handle (3) and take it out of the
discharge chute (4).
N Close the rear discharge cover (1).
Installing the Side Discharge Chute
The mulch insert must be in place when
the side discharge is installed.
N Open the side discharge cover (1)
and hold it in position.
N Line up recesses (2) in side
discharge chute (3) below the pin
(4).
N Close the side discharge cover (1).
Removing the Side Discharge Chute
N Open the side discharge cover (1)
and hold it in position.
N Remove the side discharge
chute (2).
N Close the side discharge cover (1).
