7.1 General
● Place the machine on level and firm
ground when performing all the
operations described.
7.2 Installing mono handlebar
(RME 443 C)
● 1 Insert sleeve (J) in the bore
on handlebar (1).
● 2 Fit two washers (L) with the convex
side facing inwards onto the sleeve.
● 3 Hold sleeve (J) and washers (L) and
insert together with handlebar (1) into
handlebar console (2).
● 4 Insert nut (M) into the handlebar
console as shown.
● 5 Insert bolt (K) from the outside
inwards through the bores in
handlebar (1) and in handlebar
console (2) and tighten.
Tightening torque:
18 - 22 Nm
Installing electric cable:
● Insert the electric cable (3) in the
holders on the handlebar console and
on the handlebar (4, 5) as shown. Insert
the cable into cable clip (6), close tab
and allow it to engage.
7.3 Installing dual handlebar
(RME 443)
● Insert screw (F) through the bore
in cable guide (G).
● Fit upper handlebar (2) onto lower
handlebar sections (1).
● Attach cable guide (G) to electric
cable (3) and insert screw (F) through
the bore from the inside outwards.
● On the opposite side, insert screw (F)
from the outside inwards through the
bores.
● Fit handlebar protection (I) and screw
quick clamping devices (E) onto
screws (F) (the screw should project by
about one screw thread turn) and fold
upwards.
Danger of electric shock!
Keep the electric cable
away from the cutting tool.
RME 443:
Switch the motor on.
RME 443 C:
Switch the motor on.
RME 443 C:
Switch the motor off.
