  Your Stiltz Lifting System might not travel upwards due to several reasons. Check if the main power is off, causing the lift car to operate on emergency battery; if so, wait until the main power is restored. Inspect the safety cover for any obstructions and remove them. Also, observe from the upper floor to see if the safety cover is tilting instead of coming up level, which could indicate it's catching on the guides.
