USING THE INSERT REMOVAL TOOL
See Figures 1 - 2.
NOTE: Only use the insert removal tool on tabbed inserts.
 Slide the hooks on the end of the insert tool under the tab
on the insert.
 Lower the tool so that the bottom latch catches under the
insert tab and locks securely in place.
 To release: Lift the orange release button with your thumb,
then remove the insert removal tool from the insert.
WARNING:
Never use the insert removal tool if tool does not lock se-
curely to the insert. Failure to insure that the tool is locked
securely can result in serious personal injury.

Use heat-resistant oven mitts whenever use of the insert
removal tool requires moving over the grill surface when
hot. Failure to use heat-resistant oven mitts can result in
serious personal injury.
WARNING:
Never leave the insert removal tool inside the hot grill. High
temperatures could damage and ruin the tool. Handling
an insert removal tool that has been left inside a hot grill
could result in serious personal injury.
