Battery display
The red LED Bat. signals that the
batteries are empty and must be
replaced. However, it is still possible
to conduct measurements for a brief
period.
4.1 Inserting the batteries
The battery compartment is located
at the rear of the measuring instru-
ment HPM 3000. Two AA mignon
LR6 batteries are required for opera-
tion.
The battery compartment cover can
be opened by lightly pressing and
simultaneously sliding the cover.
Insert the batteries while paying
attention to the correct polarity and
reattach the cover.
Calibration
Two holes are located at the upper
edge of the housing. Remove the pro-
tective cap from the device and insert
the measuring needles into the hole.
The value 19% must be illustrated
on the display in order to ensure a
correct calibration. In the event of a
deviation in the value the instrument
must be returned to the customer ser-
vice department of STORCH GmbH
for recalibration.
