1. Charging the Sensor: * Plug the magnetic charge cable into the 5W power adapter. * Connect the magnetic end of the cable to the sensor. * Ensure the sensor is fully charged before use; the LED will turn white when complete. * A cable clip is provided to secure the charge cable.
2. Adding Straps to Sensor and Boot: * Sensor Insertion: * Insert the sensor into the boot at an angle, toe end first. * Press down to secure the sensor, ensuring it sits flush within the boot. * Strap Attachment: * Size 1 and 2 straps come in paper sleeves and slide onto the boot. * Size 3 strap is pre-attached to the small boot. * Size 4 strap is pre-attached to the medium boot. * The ankle strap (longer) and sensor strap (shorter) are attached to the boot. * Boot Sizing (Example with Small Boot): * The sensor zone should align with the baby's foot. * It is acceptable for toes to overhang; the boot does not need to fit like a typical shoe. * Important Note: Ensure all sensors make good contact with the baby's skin for correct measurement. * Strap Tightness: * The ankle strap should be snug but not tight. * The sensor strap should sit flush against the top of the foot with no gap. * Checking Strap Length: * The strap length is correct when the Velcro closure is perfect, not too long (Velcro not on fabric) or too short.
3. Pairing the Sensor to the App: * Download the "Stork" app. * Follow the in-app instructions to select and pair the Stork Sensor from the "Devices" menu. The app screens shown in the document might differ from the actual ones displayed in the app.
1. Removing the Sensor: * To remove the sensor from the boot, push it from the opening at the bottom of the boot.
2. Cleaning Sensor and Boot: * Boot and Straps: * Remove the sensor. * Place just the boot (and straps if desired) in the washing machine. * Do not put the sensor in the washing machine. * Sensor and Other Components: * Dampen a cloth with water to wipe the components of the Stork System (sensor is shown as an example). * Bleach wipes or 70% isopropyl alcohol can also be used for cleaning. * Do not use household cleaning agents.
