3) Curfew Alert
This function allows the user to set a specific time and have the system notify them if the
vehicle is being used at that time.
The system informs the driver through the onboard audio/navigation system that the set time
is approaching.
4) Service Appointment Schedule
With this function, the onboard audio/navigation system accesses the server of SUBARU of
America to display the dealer reservation screen only for the users, on which the users can
make a reservation to bring the vehicle into the dealer from the vehicle itself.
In addition, dealer reservations can be suggested depending on vehicle status or on current
service campaigns, and the user can make a phone call to a specified dealer.
* This can only be used when the onboard audio/navigation systems are available for hands-
free calls.
5) SUBARU STARLINK system Update
This is a function that the vehicle downloads data for DCM update from the server using
wireless communication and update the DCM.
When an update was necessary due to a service campaign or other reason, the customer
was required to make a reservation with the dealer and take the vehicle in themselves, but
this function reduces the frequency of such occurrences.
6) Wi-Fi Hotspot
This function provides an Internet connection service with the vehicle becoming an access
point for wireless LAN using LTE high-speed communication.
The user can use the Internet service by connecting their PC, game machine, tablet, or
other device to the vehicle.
