1. Check the fuse
Check the fuse for CCU and CDM module( 20A ).
Check result is OK?
Replace fuse.
If the replacement fuse is blown immediately, repair any shorts to ground in the wiring
harness between the battery and audio amplifier.

Go to 2.
2. Check wiring harness (open circuit)
1. Turn the ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect the cockpit control unit connector.
3. Disconnect the audio amplifier connector.
4. Using a tester, measure the resistance between the cockpit control unit connector and the audio amplifier
connector.

Repair the open circuit in the wiring harness between the cockpit control unit connector
and the audio amplifier.
Yes
No
Go to 3.
Is the resistance less than 1 ɏ?
3. Check wiring harness 㻌 ( ground short )
Using a tester, measure the resistance between the cockpit control unit connector and body ground.

(i101) No. 15 — Chassis ground䠖
Repair the ground short in the wiring harness between the cockpit control unit connector and
the audio amplifier.
Yes
No
Go to 4.
Is the resistance more than 1 ɏ?
4. CHECK HARNESS (SHORT CIRCUIT TO POWER SUPPLY).
1. Turn the ignition switch ON.
2. Using a tester, measure the voltage between the cockpit control unit connector and body ground.
(With each connector disconnected )

㻌㻌㻌Is the resistance less than 1 V?
Repair the power supply short circuit in the wiring harness between the cockpit control
unit connector and the audio amplifier.

No
Go to 5.
Use the SUBARU select monitor to read the "Cockpit Control" DTC.
Is DTC B2244 displayed?
5. CHECK DTC.
Replace the audio amplifier. Yes
No
A DTC is displayed, but the circuit has for now returned to a normal status.
Perform diagnosis again after reproducing the defect.
