What to do if I cannot pair my phone to the Subaru Impreza SEDEFG6000 system?

There are several reasons why you might be unable to pair your phone with the Subaru Automobile system. The system can only pair with a maximum of 3 phones. To resolve this, hold down the control button until you hear 4 beeps, then release it. You will hear ascending tones. After that, try pairing again. Another reason could be a software lock-up with your phone; in this case, remove and replace your phone's battery and retry the pairing procedure. Finally, you may have exceeded the maximum number of connections your phone allows, so delete other paired Bluetooth devices from your phone and try again.
