THIS PRODUCT IS A CLIMBING AID TO BE USED BY ONE PERSON AT A TIME. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT DESIGNED TO
HAVE TWO (2) PEOPLE CONNECTED TO BOTH PRUSIK HITCHES (ON THE 30 FT SAFETY LINE) AT THE SAME TIME
NOR IS IT DESIGNED TO BE USED AS A SAFETY STRAP/ROPE WHILE AT DESIRED ELEVATED HUNTING HEIGHT OR
WHILE AT THE FOOT PLATFORM ON THE TREESTAND! AT ELEVATION, ALWAYS CONNECT THE SAFETY STRAP /
ROPE THAT CAME WITH YOUR FULL BODY FALL ARREST HARNESS SYSTEM AS EXPLAINED BEFORE. FAILURE TO
FOLLOW ALL THE WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH!
1. Ensure both Prusik Hitches are at the bottom (ground level) of the 30 FT Safety Line. See figure 1. Secure the tether on your Full Body Fall
Arrest Harness System (FBFAHS) to the Prusik Hitch by using a Locking Carabiner to the TOP Prusik Hitch. Ensure the Carabiner is closed and
locked securely. See figure 2.
2. While ascending to the treestand, slide the Prusik Hitch up the rope while keeping the Prusik above eye level while your climb.
WARNING
!
NEVER be disconnected from the tree once you leave
the ground until you return safely back to the ground!
ASCENDING TO THE TREESTAND
3. Once you reach the foot platform, secure your FBFAHS Safety Strap/Rope around the tree and while staying connected to the 30 FT Safety
Line, secure your FBFAHS tether to an additional Safety Rope Prusik Hitch using a second Locking Carabiner. See figure 3. At this point, your
harness tether will be connected to the 30 FT Safety Line AND to the second added Safety Rope Prusik Hitches. See figure 4. Now, you can
safely disengage the Carabiner connecting you to the 30 FT Safety Line. Following this method ensures you are connected at all times.
