4. Once the First person is secured to a separate Safety Strap/Rope, the Second person (at ground level) can now safely attach their tether to
the BOTTOM Prusik Hitch on the 30 FT Safety Line and safely ascend to the treestand keeping the Prusik Hitch above eye level while ascending
the tree.
5. Upon arrival of the Second person the foot platform, secure your Safety Rope around the tree and secure your FBFAHS tether to the second
Safety Rope Prusik Hitch using a Locking Carabiner. At this point, your harness tether will be connected to the 30’ Safety Line AND to the
Safety Rope Prusik Hitches. See figure 5. Following this method ensures you are connected at all times. Now, you can safely disengage the
Carabiner connecting you to the 30’ Safety Line. See figure 6.
6. At this point, BOTH people are secured to SEPARATE Safety Strap/Rope(s) as shown in figure 6.

or the 30’ Safety Line.
DESCENDING FROM THE TREESTAND
1. Ensure both Prusik Hitches are at the TOP of the 30 FT Safety Line. The First person exiting the treestand: Secure the tether on your Full
Body Fall Arrest Harness System to the BOTTOM Prusik Hitch on the 30 FT Safety Line while staying connected to the Safety Strap/Rope.
See figure 5. At this point, you should be double connected. Next, disengage the Carabiner connecting you to the Safety Strap/Rope and
remove the Safety Strap/Rope from the tree.
2. Carefully descend down the tree, sliding the Prusik Hitch down the rope as you descend. Keep the Prusik above eye level to reduce the fall
distance in the event of a fall.
3. Once safely on the ground, disengage from the 30’ Safety Line.
4. After the First person has safely reached ground level and has disengaged from the 30 FT Safety Line, it is now safe for the Second person
to secure their tether on the Full Body Fall Arrest Harness System to the remaining Prusik Hitch on the 30 FT Safety Line while staying
connected to the Safety Strap/Rope. At this point, you should be double connected. Next, disengage the Carabiner connecting you to the
Safety Strap/Rope and remove the Safety Strap/Rope from the tree.
5. Carefully descend down the tree sliding the Prusik hitch down the rope as you descend. Keep the Prusik above eye level to reduce the fall
distance in the event of a fall.
6. Once safely on the ground, disengage from the 30’ Safety Line.
7. Before using at an elevated position, practice at ground level until you understand safe and proper use before.
This product is to be used with Summit Treestand safety harnesses only.
