INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE USING YOUR APPLIANCE
Remove the exterior and interior packing.
Before connecting the appliance to the power source, let it stand upright for approximately
2 hours. This will reduce the possibility of a malfunction in the cooling system from hand-
ling during transportation.
Clean the interior surface with lukewarm water using a soft cloth.
INSTALLATION OF YOUR APPLIANCE
Install the refrigerator in a dry place that is not exposed to direct sunlight or any other
source of heat.
WARNING: Do not store or install the appliance outdoors.
To allow for door opening, do not install the cabinet against a wall on its hinged side.
If you want to set the appliance into an enclosure, consider these factors:
- There must be a space of at least 6” above the unit in order to allow the cooling
system to work satisfactorily;
- There must be at least 5/8” clearance between the enclosure wall and the door hinge
to allow for easy opening of the door;
- Allow at least 1” of clearance between the wall and the other side of the appliance.
- Take care that the air vent at the front of the unit is never covered or blocked in any
way.
Place your refrigerator on a oor that is strong enough to support it when it is fully loaded.
To level the unit, adjust the front leveling legs. When it is moved from a hard oor to a
carpeted surface, allow time for settling into the softer surface, then re-level the unit if
necessary.
Do not install in a location where the temperature will fall below 60°F (16°C).
Plug the refrigerator into an exclusive, properly grounded wall outlet. Any questions
concerning power and/or grounding should be directed toward a certied electrician or an
authorized service center.
