Warranty
Your
Suncast
Building,
Shed,
or
Gazebo
has
a
Limited
10-year
Warranty
against
product
failure
resulting
from
defects
in
manufacturing
or
materials.
The
Warranty
period
starts
on
the
date
of
purchase.
Incidental
and
consequential
damages
are
not
covered.
Warranty
Claims
Suncast
will
repair
or
replace
defective
components
of
the
unit
upon
proof
of
purchase
and
evidence
of
the
failure
caused
by
defects
in
manufacturing
or
materials.
Required
evidence
of
failure
may
include
photographs
and
returning
failed
components
to
Suncast
accompanied
with
proof
of
purchase
showing
the
purchase
date.
Suncast
will
repair
or
replace
only
the
parts
that
failed
under
the
terms
of
the
warranty.
In
some
cases
the
replacement
parts
may
not
be
identical,
but
they
shall
be
of
equal
or
greater
value
than
the
original
part.
Suncast
reserves
the
right
to
reimburse
the
Purchase
Price
of
the
unit,
on
a
straight
line
depreciated
basis
for
the
length
of
the
warranty
in
lieu
of
repair
or
replacement.
The
Purchase
Price
does
not
include
taxes,
delivery,
site
preparation
or
assembly
costs.

Warranty
Limitations
This
warranty
does
not
cover
ordinary
wear
and
tear;
ordinary
weathering;
sunlight
fading;
staining
or
other
aging
of
physical
features
that
do
not
affect
the
form,
fit,
or
function
of
the
unit.
Suncast
is
not
responsible
for
loss
of
use
of
the
unit;
items
stored
in
the
unit;
labor
or
materials
for
construction;
or
disposal
costs.
The
warranty
does
not
cover
Acts
of
Nature
including
but
not
limited
to:
damage
caused
by
weather
events
such
as
wind
in
excess
of
65
mph;
tornado;
hurricane;
microburst;
hail;
flood;
snow
that
is
not
removed
from
the
roof
when
over
8”
in
depth;
blizzard;
extreme
heat;
pollution
or
fire
events.
The
following
actions
void
the
warranty:
improper
assembly;
assembly
on
foundation
other
than
as
described
in
the
assembly
instructions;
storage
above
intended
and
reasonable
capacity;
modifications
to
the
unit
including
but
not
limited
to
painting,
adding
kits
for
electric
service,
lighting,
ventilation
or
similar
features;
improper
cleaning
including
but
not
limited
to
sandblasting
or
using
harsh
chemicals
not
recommended
for
plastics
and
disassembly
for
the
purpose
of
moving
to
a
new
location.
Commercial
or
industrial
use
voids
this
warranty.
The
following
damage
events
void
the
warranty:
animal
or
vermin
infestation;
fire;
heat
sources;
impacts
or
vandalism.
This
warranty
is
nontransferable.
It
applies
only
to
the
original
purchaser
and
only
to
the
original
assembly
location.
Floor
models,
clearance
and
open
box
units
are
not
covered
by
this
warranty.
Suncast
does
not
represent
that
this
unit
will
meet
city,
county,
state,
homeowner's
association
standards
or
zoning
requirements.
The
owner
is
responsible
for
securing
all
permits
and
meeting
other
requirements
needed
for
placement,
construction
and
use.
This
warranty
gives
you
specific
legal
rights,
and
you
may
also
have
other
rights
which
vary
from
state
to
state.
Some
states
do
not
allow
the
exclusion
or
limitation
of
incidental
or
consequential
damages;
the
limitation
or
exclusion
may
not
apply
to
you.
