CONDENSED
OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
(Automatic
Operation)
1. Mount the flash head.
Rotate
the
flash head
base upward
and
mount
your
choice
of
flash
head.
2. lnstall
batteries.
Detach the battery
cartridge from
the
622 body
by
pressing
battery
cartridge release lever.
Open
the
battery
compartment
by sliding
the
door. lnsert lreshly
charged Ni-
cad C cells
(or
Alkaline
C
cells)
and
mount
the loaded
cartridge
onto
622 body.
3. Select
the lens
opening for
automatic operation.
Move the
aperture/distance selec-
tor lever to
the desired f/stoo
and
distance
for the
film in
use. Set
your
lens
to
this
opening.
4. Take the
picture.
Move
switch
to the
"on"
position.
When
the
ready light
glows, you
are
ready
to
take
the
picture!
To confirm that the
subject
is
within
the
maximum
distance
range for
cor-
rect
exposure,
aim
flash towards
the
subject and
press
the
Test button. The
Auto
Signal
Lamp on the
back of the
622 body will
glow.
lt assures
you pic-
ture
after
picture
-
different subjects,
different
distances, different surroun-
dings. All
perfectly
exposed,
automati-
cally, with
your
Sunpak 622.
