7. The re pit is not to be used in a boat or recreaonal vehicle.
8. Always use the repit in accordance with all applicable local, state, and naonal codes.
Contact your local re department for details.
9. When using the re pit, exercise the same precauons you would with any open re.
10. The use of alcohol, prescripon or non-prescripon drugs may impair the consumers ability
to operate the re pit safely.
11. Do not use the re pit unl you have read the operang instrucons and user warnings.
12. The re pit is designed for use with standard rewood logs and may not funcon properly
with other fuel sources.
13. Do not alter or modify the re pit in any manner.
14. Do not store or use gasoline or any other ammable vapors or liquids in the vicinity of the
re pit.
15. Do not store or use LP gas cylinders within 30 feet of the re pit while it is in operaon.
16 Do not use the re pit near automobiles, trucks, vans, or recreaonal vehicles.
17. Do not use the re pit in any explosive environment. Keep the area around the re pit clear
and free of any combusble materials, gasoline, or any other ammable liquids.
18. Do not use the re pit under any overhead or near any unprotected combusble construc-
ons. Avoid using under or near any overhanging trees or shrubs.
19. Always use the re pit on a level noncombusble surface. Use on wood or composite decks
at your own risk.
20. Do not wear ammable or loose clothing when operang the re pit.
21. Do not use the re pit in windy condions.
22. Do not use gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, lighter uid, alcohol, or any other ammable liquid
to light or relight the re pit.
23. Keep all electrical cords away from the re pit.
24. ALL surfaces of the re pit are extremely hot when in operaon. To avoid burns and serious
injury, do not touch the re pit unl the re is completely out and it has completely cooled.
Never touch the coals or ash to see if they’re sll warm.
25. Do not aempt to move or store the re pit unl all re, coals, and ashes are completely
exnguished and the unit has completely cooled.

27. Do not lean over the re pit when lighng or when it is in use.
28. Avoid breathing smoke from the re and avoid geng smoke in your eyes.
29. The re pit should be inspected and cleaned regularly aer each use.
30. Aer a period of non-use, check the re pit for signs of damage and creosote buildup. Do not
operate unl necessary repairs and/or cleanup is done.
31. Do not use water to exnguish the re as this could cause damage to the re pit as well as
injury to the user.
32. Seriously injury, death, and/or property damage may occur if the above instrucons are not
followed exactly.
