What to do if Super Hot Boiler overheats and system remains cold?
    • D
      Dakota TaylorAug 1, 2025
If your Super Hot Boiler overheats but the system remains cold, it may be due to insufficient circulation. Check the pump, clean it, and replace it if needed. Another cause could be air trapped in the piping, in which case you should purge the system. Improper system wiring could also be the reason, so test and correct the wiring.

Why do Super Hot Boiler and heating system overheat?
    • M
Mrs. Patricia Guerrero DVMAug 5, 2025
If your Super Hot Boiler and heating system overheat, the cause may be a faulty thermostat or controller. Check, adjust, and replace these if necessary. Another potential cause is a faulty aquastat and/or safety high limit aquastat, which should also be checked, adjusted, and replaced if necessary. Finally, check the wiring for short circuits and repair any faults.

How to fix Super Hot MG Boiler pilot flame that will not light on electronic ignition?
    • J
      James HamptonAug 11, 2025
If the pilot flame on your Super Hot Boiler will not light with electronic ignition, it could be due to several reasons. There might be no spark because the high voltage wiring is loose, broken, or grounded; in this case, repair the wiring. The ignition electrodes might be damaged, requiring replacement. They might also be improperly adjusted, so correct their adjustment. A faulty electronic ignition controller could also be the cause, necessitating replacement. Additionally, ensure there is a supply of gas to the pilot and repair if necessary. Make sure gas supply pipes are purged of air and purge the gas line if needed. Check for low pilot gas pressure and adjust it if necessary. Finally, dirt or foreign material in the pilot can prevent ignition, so clean the pilot.

What to do if Super Hot Boiler burner starts but flame will not stay established?
    • J
      Jordan WoodardAug 15, 2025
If the burner on your Super Hot Boiler starts, but the flame will not stay established, it could be due to wet, dirty, or improperly adjusted ignition electrodes. Check, clean, change, and/or adjust the electrodes. Another possibility is poor connections in the wiring to the flame sensor, so repair the wiring.

Why does Super Hot MG pilot light but flame fails after ignition?
    • K
      Katherine RichardsonAug 20, 2025
If the pilot light on your Super Hot Boiler lights but experiences flame failure after the trial for ignition, the issue might stem from incorrect pilot flame pressure, so set the pilot pressure to the correct level. Alternatively, there could be poor connections in the wiring to the flame sensor, requiring you to repair the wiring. Damaged electrodes could also be the cause, in which case you should replace them. Finally, improperly adjusted ignition electrodes could be the culprit, so correct their adjustment.

Why does Super Hot MG Boiler carbonizes (forms soot) quickly?
    • M
      Maria AdamsAug 26, 2025
If your Super Hot Boiler carbonizes (forms soot) quickly, it could be caused by incorrect orifice sizing, so check the orifice and replace it if necessary. Inadequate combustion and ventilation air could also be the reason, so check and adjust the air supply. A dusty environment can contribute to carbonization, so clean the area. Low return water temperature could also be a factor, so adjust the system. Finally, a manifold pressure that is too high can cause this issue, so adjust the manifold pressure.
