SUMMARY
Due to two handed controls, risk to the operator from the moving axe blade and associated
blocks of timber is low. We recommend that the operator has read and understood training
procedures, because the full responsibility for the safety of the operator lies with their
understanding of the administrative controls (correct training and operation procedures) and
their attention and diligence to their work practices.
