For tropical sh you need to use an aquarium heater. The QubiQ
design incorporates a space in the lter compartement where
you can install a heater, we recommend the SuperFish Eco Heater
50 Watt.
You can keep the cable out of sight by running it through the
smart cable support on the back.
First carefully read the heater manual before usage!
Did you choose the QubiQ 30 with LED. The light of the Qubiq 30
LED can be dimmed in three steps by pressing the on/o switch.
Operate the light for 12-14 hours per day for optimal plant
growth.
After lling the aquarium and with every water change always
add water conditioner to remove toxic substances and protect
your sh. Add bacterial culture as well to help your biological
lter to start and maintain water quality.
Before putting any sh in the aquarium, allow it to run for at least
two days (a full week is better) and ensure that the temperature is
correct (check the water temperature with an aquarium
thermometer). Make sure that whenever you add fresh water it is
of the correct temperature, big temperature changes will make
your sh ill.
Before buying sh and plants test the aquarium water and adjust
the water parameters as necessary. You can also ask your dealer
to do this. After placing sh in the aquarium, test the water every
week.
Change 20% of the aquarium water weekly while cleaning the
gravel and walls of the aquarium, make sure the fresh water is of
the same temperature as the water in your aquarium!
Add water preparation and live bacteria with every water change.
Feeding is an important thing to keep you sh healthy, however
when you feed too much your water quality will get bad and your
sh get sick or die, feed once a day as little as the sh will eat in 5
minutes.
We recommend to use only Hikari Fish Food.
