  If your Superior Radiant Heater burner does not stay lit, you can take several steps. First, check the ground wire continuity and inspect the insulation on the igniter leads. Measure the flame signal current, ensuring it's between 2 to 6 micro amps dc, with a minimum of 0.8 micro amps. If needed, clean the flame rod. As a last resort, consider replacing the module.

  If there is no gas supply to your Superior Radiant Heater, first check if the manual supply valve to the heater is turned ON. Also, verify that the gas valve knob on the heater's gas control is in the ON position. You can check the supply gas pressure at the 1/8" NPT pressure tap in the gas supply system. If the gas valve is closed, it indicates a fault with either the gas valve or the ignition module.

  If the burner of your Superior Radiant Heater does not light, first check if a spark is visible through the site glass during ignition trial. If not, further electrical checks by a qualified service person are required. Also, ensure that the gas lines were properly purged of air. Check the inlet and outlet gas pressure during the ignition period. Finally, verify that the orifice and air plate are correct.
