CPU P State Control (Available when "Power Technology" is set to
Custom)
SpeedStep (P-States)
EIST (Enhanced Intel SpeedStep Technology) allows the system to automatically adjust
processor voltage and core frequency in an e󰀨ort to reduce power consumption and heat
dissipation. Please refer to Intel’s website for detailed information. The options are Disable
and Enable.
Cong (Conguring) TDP (Available when SpeedStep is set to Enable and when
the 2nd Gen Intel Xeon Scalable-SP 8260Y/6240Y/4214Y processors are used)
This Feature allows the user to congure the maximum CPU TDP (Thermal Design Power)
level for the system. The TDP level is subject to chassis and heatsink cooling restrictions.
For proper thermal management, please check the chassis and heatsink specications for
proper CPU TDP sizing. The options are Normal, Level 1 and Level 2.
Intel Speed Select (Available when SpeedStep is set to Enable and when the 2nd
Gen Intel Xeon Scalable-SP 8260Y/6240Y/4214Y processors are used)
This feature allows the user to congure up to two additional base frequency settings for
the processors used in your system as shown in the display below. The options are Base,
Cong (Conguration) 1 and Cong (Conguration) 2.
