DESCALING ESPRESSO MAKER
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
1. The Espresso Maker will go into Energy Saving Mode after
8 minutes of not being used.
2. All LED lights will turn off.
3. The Espresso Maker will stop the heating process.
4. To wake up the Espresso Maker just touch any of the LED
buttons.
5. The Espresso Maker will start the heating process.
6. When LED lights are solid, the machine has finished heating
and it’s ready to start brewing espresso.
After continuous use, perform descaling every 3 months
1. Add water (0.5 – 1 L) mixed with qualified descaling agent in proportion to the water tank.
Close lid handle (no capsules), and perform the “Lungo” function repeatedly until the water in
the water tank is pumped dry.
2. Rinse water tank, add 0.5 L of clean water, and perform the “Lungo” function repeatedly until
water in drained from tank. Descaling is complete.
1. Cleaning and Maintenance should be performed at least
once a week or more if Espresso Maker is being used
constently.
2. Before cleaning the Espresso Maker unplug the power cord
from the power outlet.
3. Remove Drip Tray and Capsule Collection Tray. Dispose of
used capsules, hand wash trays with mild soap, rinse well
and dry. Place trays back into the Espresso Maker.
4. Rinse the Water Tank and fill with drinking clean water.
5. Place a cup on the Drip Tray, and run a brewing cycle without
putting any capsule in the Espresso Maker, to clean the inside
of the machine.
6. Clean the Espresso Maker surfaces and power cord with a
soft damp cloth.
WARNING: To avoid a fatal electrical shock or fire, NEVER immerse the Espresso Maker or any part
of it in water.
WARNING: Do NOT use any strong cleaning agents or solvent cleaners. Do NOT use sharp
objects, brushes or sharp abrasives. Do NOT place any part of the Espresso Maker in
the diswasher.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR ESPRESSO SHOT
1. Press any button to activate the Espresso Maker.
2. When LED lights stop flashing and are solid, the machine has
finished heating.
3. Select “Espresso” or “Lungo” to reset the amount of coffee
poured into the cup.
4. Press and hold “Espresso” or “Lungo” an don’t let go.
5. After 3 seconds, the Espresso Maker will start to brew coffee.
6. When the amount of coffee in the cup reaches your desired
amount, let go of the button.
7. The Espresso Maker will stop automatically and replace the
system’s default setting with the new one just set.
8. The new value becomes the new default setting until it’s reset
again.
9. Repeat these steps to change the other default setting.
NOTE: If the espresso size is increased, a bigger cup might be
needed.

NOTE: To reset the Espresso maker to factory settings, during
the the preheating state and standby state, press and hold
the “Espresso” + “Lungo” function keys for 5 seconds. The two
indicators flash twice, and the machine will be restored to
factory settings.
