Instructions

WARNING: When using electric tools, basic safety precautions should always be followed to

reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury. This appliance has a polarized plug

(one blade is wider than the other.) To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to

fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.

IF it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT modify this plug in any way.

2. Do not use outdoors or near water.

3. Do not expose gun to rain, moisture or direct sunlight.

6. Do not carry glue gun by cord or unplug from outlet by pulling electrical cord.

7. Disconnect glue gun when not in use.

9. Do not use hot melt glue to replace structural fasteners.

10. Do not use extension cords.

11. Do not use any material other than recommended glue sticks.

12. Avoid accidental discharge. Do not touch glue stick or trigger except to dispense glue.

Feeding or pushing the glue stick with too much force into heated gun may cause hot

glue to be unexpectedly expelled from nozzle or to flow back from inlet tube.

13. Allow glue gun to cool before storing.

The Surebonder CI-800F is a cordless, high-temperature, full-size glue gun designed for strong bonding applications. It is specifically recommended for high-temperature bonding to achieve a better and more durable bond. This versatile tool can be used to bond a wide range of materials, including wood, metal, plastic, fabric, leather, and ceramic.

Power Source: Cordless operation, requiring a 120V electrical outlet for heating.
Glue Stick Diameter: Designed for 0.43-inch diameter mini glue sticks.
Operating Temperature: The nozzle and melted glue can reach temperatures up to 380°F (193°C).

Heating Time: Requires approximately 5 minutes to heat up after being plugged into a 120V electrical outlet.
Glue Stick Insertion: Glue sticks are inserted into the back of the glue gun, into the feeder tube.
Glue Dispensing: Glue is dispensed by squeezing the trigger. Repeated squeezing dispenses more glue. Continuous glue flow is maintained by adding additional glue sticks as needed. Initial startup typically requires about two glue sticks.
Immediate Bonding: Surfaces to be glued should be pressed together immediately after glue application for optimal adhesion.
Glue Stick Management: Users should not pull glue sticks from the glue gun. If changing glue types, the remainder of the current glue stick should be fed through the gun.
