Monitor Operating Keys

Alarm Silence
Use this key to silence the alarms and to cancel the alarm silence.
Menu / Enter Key
Press this key to enter the menu system, and to advance to the next
menu selection.
Cancel / Exit Key
Press this key to exit the menu system.

Up and

Down Arrows
Use the up and down arrow keys to adjust pulse beep volume during
normal operation. In a menu, use these keys to adjust the selection.

ON/OFF Key
Momentarily press this key when the device is OFF to turn the monitor ON.
Press and hold this key when the device is OFF to clear the patient trend data.
Silencing Alarms
Audible alarms can be silenced for two (2) minutes.1.
To silence the alarm tone, press the 2. Alarm Silence key (
B
).
The Alarm Silence indicator will light solid for the rst minute and 45 seconds, 3.
then ash the last 15 seconds.
To cancel the 2-minute silence, press the 4. Alarm Silence key (
B
).
NOTE: The Alarm Silence key will not aect visual alarm indicators or pulse tone.
NOTE: Permanent Alarm Silence is not available.
Changing the Alarm Limits
To select alarm limit defaults by patient type, press the 1. Menu key (
) once to display the current patient type
setting. Pt will be displayed as well as the current setting: Horse (KrS), Dog (d09), Cat ([At), Factory (FA[), or
Custom ([Us).
Use the 2. Up and Down keys (
n
o
)to select the desired patient type.
Press the 3. Menu key (
) again to display the desired alarm limit values for that patient type.
Use the 4. Up and Down keys (
n
o
) to increase or decrease the setting.
Press the 5. Menu key (
) to advance to the next alarm limit.
To exit, press the 6. Exit key (
) or wait 20 seconds until the patient reading is displayed.

Turn the High Sensitivity setting On or OFF.

Select desired display brightness, ranging from 1-10.

Select the year, month, and day for the device.

Setting the Time

Select the hour and minute for the device.
