  If your Suunto GPS watch isn't displaying speed and distance, several factors could be the reason. First, ensure the POD is switched on and is successfully receiving satellite signals, indicated by a green light flashing at 1/s. Try reconnecting the wrist unit to the POD. Make sure the POD's placement is optimized with the top cover facing directly towards the sky and that your body isn't blocking the signal between the POD and the wrist unit; a direct line of sight is necessary. GPS functionality is unavailable indoors, and accuracy may be affected at low speeds (below 4 km/h or 2.5 mph). Also, pace measurement readings might fluctuate more at slower paces (slower than 7.5 min/km or 12 min/mile).

First, ensure the POD is powered on and that it's successfully acquiring satellite signals, indicated by a green light flashing once per second. Try reconnecting the wrist unit to the POD. For Suunto t6 models, use the 'Connect' option. For Suunto t3 or t4 models, exit and re-enter the Training or Speed and Distance mode. Also, make sure the POD's top cover faces directly towards the sky and that your body, arm, or wrist isn't blocking the signal between the POD and the wrist unit. A clear line of sight is necessary for proper function.
