This Suzuki digital piano will supply you with years of musical enjoyment if you follow the
simple rules listed below:
LOCATION
Do notexposethe
instrument
to the
following
conditions to avoid
deformation,
discoloration,
or more
serious
damage.
Direct
sunlight
(e.g.
neara
window).
Hightemperatures
(e.g.
neara heat
source,
outside,
or in a car
during
the
daytime)
Excessive
humidity.
Excessive dust.
Strong
vibration.
AC POWERCORD
Turn
the power
switch
offwhenthe
instrument
is not in use.
Unplug
theAC powercord
during
an
electrical
storm.
Avoid
plugging the ACadaptorintothesame
AC outletas appliances with
high
power
consumption, suchas
electric
heaters
or
ovens.
TURN POWEROFF WHEN MAKING
CONNECllONS
To
avoid
damagetothe
instrument
andother
devicesto which it is
connected,
tum the power
switches
of all
related
devices
off priorto
connecting or
disconnecting
MIDI
cable.
HANDLING AND TRANSPORT
Neverapply
excessive
forceto the
controls,
connectors or other
parts
ofthe
instrument.
Always
unplug
cables
by
gripping
the
plug
firmly,
not by
pulling
on the
cable.
Disconnect all
cables
before
moving
the
instrument.
Physical
shocks
caused
by
dropping,
bumping,
or
placing
heavy
objects
onthe
instrument
can
result
inscratches andmore
serious
damage.
CLEANING
Clean
the
cabinet
and
panel
with
a drysoft
cloth.
A
waxed
based
polish
maybe
used
onthe
cabinet,
although
you
will
find
that
rubbing
with
a soft
cloth
will
usually
suffice.
Do not use thinner's or
petro-chemical-based polishes.
Avoid
placing
vinyl
objects
ontopofthe
instrument
(vinyl
can stickto and
discolor
the
surface).
To
maintain
the
luster
ofthe
keys
and
buttons
wipe
with
a
clean,
lightly
dampened
cloth,
andthen
polish
witha softdry
cloth.
ELECTRICAL
INTERFERENCE
This
instrument
contains
digital
circuitry
and
may,
cause
interference
if
placed
too
close
to
radio
or
television
receivers.
Ifthis
occurs,
movethe
instrument
further
away
from
the
affected
equipment.
Donot
switch
theuniton andoffin
quick
succession,
asthis
places
an
undue
load
on
the
electronic
components
SERVICE
AND
MODIFICATION
Opening
and
tampering
with
the
Digital
Piano
can
lead
to
irreparable
dam-
age.
