First confirm the perforating position in the wall according to the rack dimensions of water heater and
installation position negotiated with the user. Be careful to retain at least of 30cm space from the right end
cap of water heater, which is used for disassembling and installation in later maintenance (for horizontal
model). Keep the water heater over 150cm above the ground. Keep 20-30cm space distance between outlet
pipe of water heater and outlet pipe in the user's house.
VI. Punching and mounting
(I) Marking position:
To confirm the installation position, the installer shall measure and mark drilling position with a level
meter and a marker pen according to the space among hanging holes of electric water heater, ensuring
the horizontal connection among holes; if installed on the porcelain tile wall, the installer shall as far
as possible maintain holes at tile seams, so as to ensure precise location and prevent excessive and
incorrect drilling holes.
(II) Positioning and punching:
First confirm and mark the drilling depth on the drilling bit according to the length of fixing bolt. In
drilling, first mark the punching position with drilling bit and drill a relatively shallow location hole at
a low speed and then drill the hole again, to keep the depth at least deeper than marked position; if the
user's wall is tiled, installers need to pay special attention to break through the smooth tile surface at a
low speed, puncture through the tile and speed up drilling deeper. During the drilling process, drilling
bit shall remain vertical to the front surface.
Specific bit size shall be subject to the dimension of standard expansion bolts accompanied with the
heater.
(III) Fixing and mounting:
Align the hook location holes with drilling holes, insert expansion bolts, screw up bolts, keep hooks
