Usage Features
Before First Use:
Users should unpack the toaster and remove all packaging materials. It should be placed on a suitable, level surface. For the first use, it's recommended to set the browning dial to 3 and toast one or two slices of bread. A slight odour may be noticed during the first use due to the evaporation of light oils used in manufacture; this is normal and does not affect the taste of the toast.
Toasting Process:
To operate, connect the product to the mains supply and press down the carriage lever. The carriage lever will only stay down if the product is connected to the mains supply. The browning dial allows users to select their desired level of toastiness.
Special Functions:
- Frozen Bread Setting: This function is ideal for defrosting and toasting frozen bread. To use it, press the carriage lever down, then press the "Frozen Bread" button.
- Reheat Setting: Designed for reheating toast that has gone cold. To activate, press the carriage lever down, then press the "Reheat" button.
- Cancel Function: The toasting process can be cancelled at any time by pressing the "Cancel" button, which will cause the toast to pop up.
