• Do not use the Sweex Universal Remote Control 4in1 in extremely dusty or moist
surroundings.
• Protect the device against powerful shocks or jolts - they may damage the internal
electronics.
• Never attempt to open the device yourself - it will cause the warranty to lapse.
Operating manual
There are three possibilities to set the Sweex Universal Remote Control.
Setting with code
1. Find the code for the device you wish to operate in the code list in this manual.
2. Switch on the device you wish to operate and aim the Sweex Universal Remote Control
at the same.
3. Push the (TV, SAT, VCR, DVD) button on the Sweex Universal Remote Control which
corresponds with the device you wish to operate. The red light on the Sweex Universal
Remote Control will light up once.
4. Keep the [SET] button pushed until the red light switches on.
5. Insert the 4-digit code. The red light will briefly flicker with each of the digits.
6. Aim the Sweex Universal Remote Control at the device to be operated and push the
button for (TV, SAT, VCR, DVD) for your device. Check one of the buttons to verify
whether the button functions. Do not push [OK]. Check, for example, the On/Off button
to check whether the device responds.
7. Push [OK] to save the settings if the buttons function correctly.
Comment: The code is invalid if the red light flickers twice and remains on after the code has
been inserted. Check the code again. Push the [SET] button, the red light
will flicker once. Insert the correct code.
