10. Trouble shooting
At start the pump is running but not
pumping water into the pool.
Air trapped inside suction hose.
Pump is not placed under the
waterline of the pool
No water passage through hoses?
ground level below the water
line!
Prime the hoses. (See procedure
pkt. 4)
The pressure gauge shows a
pressure exceeding 1.0 bar
Carry out a backwash of the filter
sand
basket/pump or filter to valve can
be blocked by leaves or debris
Clean suction hose/pool skimmer
and top valve. Check feeding hose
connections for air.
Water escapes from backwash

Inspect the gasket and replace
with a new one if necessary.

off.
Damaged pump motor.
Connect the plug.
Turn on the HFI device again. If it
immediately turns itself off again
this means that the pump or the
HFI device is damaged.
Replace the pump.
If the filter sand is new, there
may be small grains which are
washed out or the filter tank.
Carry out repeated backwash
until the backwash return water
is totally clear.
Repairs of the sand filter and pump may only be performed by a qualified, professional firm. Otherwise, the
warranty will be void.
