Why is my Swim & Fun SPS 50-1T Swimming Pool Pump not priming correctly or running very noisily?

If your Swim & Fun Swimming Pool Pump isn't priming correctly or is running noisily, it could be due to several reasons. First, ensure there's enough water supply and that the suction line isn't leaky; seal any leaks and tighten screw fittings. Also, the suction head might be too high, so observe the maximum suction head and consider installing a check valve, filling the suction line with water. A blocked suction strainer or check valve could also be the cause; clean or replace them if needed. Lastly, water leaks between the motor and pump may require replacing the Duocone seal.
