Why is my Sylvania Air Conditioner not cool enough?

  Your Sylvania Air Conditioner might not be cooling effectively due to several reasons. Ensure that all windows and doors in the room are closed to prevent heat from entering. Remove any heat sources if possible. Check that the exhaust air duct is properly connected and not blocked. Also, verify that the temperature setting isn't too high; try decreasing it. Finally, a blocked air filter can reduce cooling performance, so clean the air filter.

  If your Sylvania Air Conditioner doesn't start when you press the on/off button, check the display window for 'P1'. If 'P1' is displayed, drain the water in the bottom tray. Also, if in cooling mode, ensure that the room temperature is not lower than the set temperature; if it is, reset the temperature accordingly.

  The automatic overheat protection function may be activated. When the temperature at the air outlet exceeds 70°C/158°F, the device will stop.
