If your Symbol Control Unit's HotSync attempt failed, it could be due to several reasons. First, check if the MDM 3000 has been removed; if so, replace it on the terminal. Another reason could be a dead battery; wait for approximately 2 minutes to allow the battery to recharge. Also, check for any active error screens and tap 'OK' to clear them.
