Safety Precautions & Contraindications
A level of caution should be exercised by all patients using a
laser device. The treatment can cause increased pain if the
dosage applied is too high, and therefore it is recommended
that the first treatment should be limited in dose and time.
Safety glasses (provided) are required whilst operating the
DuoCare 904.
Do not use the device in contact with sensitive or broken skin
(including open wounds). For treatment of these, hold the device
a few centimetres above the area so the laser is not in contact
with the skin.
Do not use the device in contact with eyelids.
Do not view the divergent beam with magnifiers.
Laser should not be used by or near people with
photo-sensitivity (e.g. epilepsy), over an active cancer or
during pregnancy.
