What to do if Syneron Candela VelaShape III displays 'RF Card Error BAD COUPLING'?

If you see the 'RF Card Error BAD COUPLING' message on your Syneron Medical Equipment, it could be due to several reasons: * Skin impedance outside the acceptable range. Verify proper insertion of the disposable cover. * Inadequate contact between the applicator and the patient's skin. Make sure there is enough VelaSpray Ease on the treatment area to improve the vacuum seal. * Inadequate contact between the RF electrodes of the applicator and the RF electrodes on the replaceable cover. Replace the disposable cover. You can also try applying harder pressure on the tissue to ensure adequate sealing, ensuring the applicator’s RF contacts are clean, verifying operation of the other applicator (if available), or replacing the applicator.
