User Setup Mode
This mode allows you to congure
your preferences for the Learning
Remote Control.
In this mode you are able to select
your preferences for LED bright-
ness, key sound, infra-red lockout.
To enter User Setup Mode, press
and hold the ‘Standby’ and
‘Menu’ keys for approximately
5 seconds.
All device LED’s except Aux 1
should blinking.
The following pages describes the
options available in User Setup
Mode.
To exit User Setup Mode, press
and hold the ‘Standby’ and
‘Menu’ keys for approximately
5 seconds.
Infra-red Lockout
This feature will conserve battery
power if a key is accidentally held
down.
This is useful when keys are
inadvertently pressed and would
otherwise drain the batteries.
The remote control will resume nor-
mal operation once the offending
keys have been released.
You must enter User Setup Mode
to perform this operation.
To enable infra-red lockout, press
the ‘Standby’ key.
The Video, Local and Aux 2 LED’s
should be blinking.
If infra-red lockout is enabled then
the Tuner, Disc and Satellite LED’s
will be illuminated.
