Preparation for use
The timer signals that the cooking
time has been completed, but
does not stop the appliance.
Setting the timer (depending on model)
• Press the button to set the time, minute by minute.
• Release the button. The time displayed is selected
and the countdown begins.
• If you make a mistake, or want to cancel the time
selected, press the button for 2 seconds until it
resets to " 0 ".
•To stop the alarm, press the button.
Lowering the basket
• Place the basket in position on the edge of the bowl.
• Close the lid.
• When the temperature-ready light goes off, press the
locking button on the basket handle (1) .
• Fold back the handle slowly and fully into its housing
(2).
Between two frying batches, wait for the temperature
ready light to go off before plunging another batch.

Preparing the basket
• Raise the basket handle until you hear a " click "
ensuring it is locked securely.
• Dry the food. Remove excess water or ice from food.
• Fill the basket as per instructions below.
• Reduce the quantities for frozen foods (see cooking
tables p 6).
Never exceed maximum quantity.

- Cut the foods into like-sized
pieces so that they cook
evenly,
- Avoid using pieces that are
too thick.
- Shake frozen foods away from
the deep fryer to detach
pieces of ice.
- Not all frozen foods are ready
to use. Check the
manufacturer’s instructions
(Cooking tables p. 6).
