PLAN YOUR INSTALLATION
Check local regulations regarding construction and power
installations. Be sure to carefully observe the safety standards
regarding pool fences and covers.
Choose an appropriate location for your pool while taking
into account the following points :
•Distance between the pool and the fence• Appropriate
electrical outlets • Arial power lines• Surrounding trees
(roots)• Reflection of sun in your yard• Underground
cables and gas lines• Location of accessories (filter,
decks,etc.)

Pleasenote,thatitisessentialtostoreyourcedarswimming
poolinadryplaceprotectedfromtheelements
followingdelivery.Dyetheoutsidesurfaceofthepoolbefore
itsinstallationbyreferringtothemaintenanceguideof
yourcedarswimming pool. Makesure that itisstored ina
dryplaceuntilitsinstallation.Improperstorageofyour
cedar pool before assembly and installation could cause
permanentdamagetothestructureandminimizethe
length of the warranty.
1.GROUNDSURFACEANDLEVELING:
Itisveryimportantthatthegroundunderyourpoolbefirm
andsolid.Thelocationmustbefreeofgrass,rocks,roots,or
anyotherobjectsthatmaypiercetheliner.
2. BUILDING AN APPROPRIATE COVE AT THE BASE OF THE
POOL :
This cove is very important since it prevents the liner from
slipping under the wall. Only use building sand.
3. BEFORE STARTING YOUR INSTALLATION :
Makesureyouhaveallthepartsrequiredfortheinstallation
(seelistofpartsforabovegroundandsemi-ingroundpools).
Should you discover any irregularities such as missing or
defectiveparts,yourdealerwillpromptlyprovideorreplace
with new parts.
IMPORTANT:
If you choose to hire a professional installer or other person
experiencedintheareaofpoolinstallation,makesurethat
the instructions provided by Taïga-Zone are followed with
great care. Taïga-Zone declines all liability resulting from
inadequateinstallation.
