PREP In a saucepan, heat coffee concentrate. While coffee is heating, fill another
saucepan with ¼ cup cold milk. Whisk milk while heating, but do not let boil. Remove
from heat, pour coffee concentrate into mug, top with foam, and serve.
PREP Using an electric beater, beat cream until fluffy. Mix in sugar and continue
beating until stiff peaks form. Split whipped cream between 4 mugs. Add vanilla and
hot water to coffee concentrate and heat for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and pour
over cream. Serve immediately.

The Takeya Cold Brew Coffee Maker is designed to provide a smooth, concentrated coffee experience by eliminating the bitterness and acidity often associated with traditional hot brewing methods. This user guide details the components, usage, care, and recipes for the 1-quart model.

Function Description:

The primary function of the Takeya Cold Brew Coffee Maker is to extract coffee flavors using cold water over an extended period. This process, known as cold brewing, minimizes the release of undesirable acids and oils, resulting in a naturally sweet, less bitter, and smoother coffee concentrate. The concentrate can then be used to prepare both hot and iced coffee beverages.

• Capacity: 1 quart (32 ounces) of cold, filtered water for brewing.
• Brewing Time: Overnight or up to 36 hours for cold brewing.

  3. Seal and Brew: Seal the lid airtight, shake well, and store in the refrigerator for overnight brewing or up to 36 hours. Occasionally twist open and swirl the infuser during brewing.
  4. Remove Infuser: Once brewing is complete, remove the infuser. The result is concentrated cold brew coffee.
• Versatile Serving:
  • Hot Coffee: Mix 1 part coffee concentrate with 2 parts boiling water. Sweetener and creamer can be added as desired.
  • Iced Coffee: Pour coffee concentrate over ice, then add water, milk, or soy.
