Do not leave your TAKUMA E-FOIL on hot surfaces such as asphalt or sand for
long periods of time.
Never leave your TAKUMA E-FOIL in an overheated place, such as in a hot car.
Doing so may cause serious damage.
1.2.4 Propeller
Risk of personal injury: The TAKUMA E-FOIL propeller carries
risks of serious and even fatal injuries.
Keep body, fingers and toes away from the TAKUMA E-FOIL’s
spinning propeller. Contact with the spinning propeller can
cause serious and even fatal injuries.
Never start the propeller when out of the water.
Never remove the fairing of the propeller.
Never touch or handle the propeller while the battery is connected. If
intervention is required on the propeller (to remove a foreign body, for
example), the battery must be removed first.
1.2.5 Electrical parts, batteries and chargers
Before handling the electrical connections of the TAKUMA
E-FOIL, the battery or the chargers, make sure you are in a dry
place away from water splashes. Never operate in the water
or in the presence of humidity.
Never open the electrical connectors when your E-FOIL is on
the water.
Never change your battery when your E-FOIL is on the water.
Do not attempt to open or modify the electrical parts, battery
or charger.
Do not use other batteries or chargers than those sold by TAKUMA. Any
damage caused by the use of another battery or charger will not be covered
by warranty.
Place the battery and the charger in a clean and dry place, out of the reach
of children under 18 years old.
Keep the battery away from fire, heating sources and out of direct sunlight.
The battery must be used in the temperature range from 0°C to 40°C. Do
not use or charge the battery at high temperature. Use of the battery in
environments above 40°C can lead to a fire or an explosion.
Avoid any impact on the battery.
Please check carefully the battery before each use.
Make sure there is no corrosion in the battery before charging or before
connecting to your E-FOIL.
