normal forward
drive
position
with
the motor running.
Ensure that
the clearance
between the
polyurethane
friction
pads
under
the turn-
table
and friction disc

0,5-0,9

(0.02"-0.035").
If necessary, adjust
screw

Note:
All
controls
and measurements
must be carried out
with the tape recorder
placed
in
horizontal
posi-
tion
and
with
empty
reels
only.
The
control is
accomplished
as
shown
in
fig.
1.2, which
presents
two
optional modes
of
control.
