operating
lever

winding position.
The
control
is
accomplished
as
shown in
fig.
1.6,
which
presents
two
optional
modes
of
control.

deviates

the specifications
in
the
figure,
check
and, if
necessary,
alter the
pressure

Set the
operating
lever
to
normal
forward
drive
position.
Check
that the
clearance
between
the
brake
pad^
and
the
tumtable
is
approx.
1 mm
(0.04").
If
necesiary,
adjust
screw

Set the
operating
lever
to fast
forward
winding
or fast
reverse
winding
respectively.
Ensure
that
the
clearance
between
screw
C
and the
bottom
of
the
hinged
delrin
parts
on
operating
arm
991012
lays
between
0,b-1
mm
(0.02"-0.04").
If
necessary,
adjust
screw
C.
The
adjustment prosedure
is
equal for
both turntables.

Adjustment
Set the
operating
lever
to neutral position.
The
clearance
between
the
pressure
pad

and
the
tape rest

should
be approx.
6,5 mm
(1/4")
as
shown in
fig.
1-.!. If
necessary,
adju,st
the
clearance
by bending
the
arm

with
a
pair
of
pliers.

pressure
of the
pad
against
the
tape rest
slould
be
