Function Description

The Tanita Digital Bathroom Scale is primarily used for measuring body weight and calculating BMI. It provides a digital display of both current weight and BMI, offering a guideline for determining an appropriate weight range. The device is designed for personal health monitoring, allowing users to track their weight and BMI over time.

Important Technical Specifications

The scale offers two versions: "kg only" and "kg/lb/st-lb".

  • Capacity:
    • kg only: 150 kg
    • kg/lb/st-lb: 330 lb (equivalent to 23 st 8 lb)
  • Minimum Graduation (Accuracy):
    • kg only: 100 g
    • kg/lb/st-lb: 0.2 lb (equivalent to 0.2 lb)
  • Power Supply: 4 "R6P" or "AA" type Alkaline batteries (included).
  • Power Consumption: 60 mA maximum.
  • BMI Calculation: BMI is determined as Body weight (kg) / Height(m)². A BMI value of 22 is considered a standard, with research suggesting fewer health problems for individuals within this range.

Usage Features

The scale features a user-friendly interface with a clear digital display and simple controls.

1. Name of Parts:
