Usage Features:

The laser level has a straightforward operation with a keyboard, indication light, laser window, lock switch, and a 1/4" mounting thread for tripod compatibility.

  • Battery Installation: Requires two AA batteries. Users must ensure correct polarity matching the icons on the battery cover.
  • Lock Switch: The lock switch is crucial for both operation and storage. It should be in the 'locked' position before inserting batteries and kept in this position when moving or storing the laser level to prevent damage.
  • Auto Self-leveling Mode:
    • To activate, turn the Lock Switch to the 'unlocked' position.
    • Both vertical and horizontal laser beams will light up, and the machine will self-level.
    • The key indication light will be green.
    • If the indication light is red and lines flash, it means the device is not level. The user should place the laser level on a flatter surface, as the self-leveling range is approximately 4°.
    • To stop working in this mode, turn the Lock Switch to the 'locked' position.
  • Locked Mode:

  • Laser Safety: The manual emphasizes that users should never stare directly into the laser beam or view it with optical instruments. While a Class 2 laser exposure for a maximum of 0.25 seconds is considered safe due to eyelid reflexes, prolonged exposure can be hazardous. The green laser light is noted to be more visible than red.
