12 BC208 Quick Start Guide 13
! Make sure to use SPEAKER CABLES and not instrument cables for all connections between the amplier and speaker cabinets.
Please notice the following:
• • Impedance for BC208, BC210, BC212 is 8 Ohm
• • Impedance for BC410 is 4 Ohm
• • BC210, BC212 and BC410 use twist-locking professional connectors for both input and link, and so any connection between these cabinets and
BC208 will require cables with a ¼" connector at one end, and a twist-locking connector at the other end.
All TC Electronic bass ampliers can run two TC Electronic 8 Ohm cabinets.
Depending on the TC Electronic amplier model, a BC410 (4 Ohm) cabinet can be combined with one or two other 8 Ohm cabinets.
NOTE: Should you by accident connect a non-valid combination of cabinets to a TC Electronic bass amplier, the amp’s protection mode may be invoked.
However, the amplier will not be damaged.

BC208 uses ¼" speaker connections for both input and link. The ¼" speaker jacks are wired in parallel.
To connect the amp to the cabinet, run a speaker cable with ¼" connectors from the amp output to one of the ¼" jacks.
Then, link to a second cabinet by running another cable from the remaining ¼" jack to the additional speaker cabinet.
! Make sure to use SPEAKER CABLES and not instrument cables for all connections between the amplier and speaker cabinets.
Cabinet Combinations
Though connecting and setting up BC208 speaker cabinets is easy and straightforward, we recommend reading this installation guide before usage.
! For the safety of your fellow musicians and your own, please address the stability of stacked cabinets and take proper precautions to
prevent the stack from being unstable or tipping over. Also notice that only two cabinets should be stacked vertically.
